This live recording is from a different machine to the recordings released on 'Shape Of Things.' The audio quality is improved, although still very raw, and provides a different standpoint of that night.
Also included, as a bonus track when you download, the full rehearsal version of 'Heart Of Darkness.' Believed to be an early rehearsal of the newly formed Pere Ubu in 1975, there is over 16 minutes of that new song as they work through ideas. Present were David Thomas, Peter Laughner, Tim Wright, and, possibly, Dave Taylor.
This album provides a unique look at the first formation of Pere Ubu playing early versions of their songs and covers. It has been remastered by David Thomas in 2021, using the original cassettes from his private collection. For all things connected to Pere Ubu, visit ubuprojex.com
